Discovering Ideas and Creativity
During their second year, students must produce a database/personal workbook in conducted workshops. It is essential for students to be able to discuss and analyse their own work as well as a firm’s philosophies when working with industry professionals. These workshops’ objective is to teach students methods to obtain conventional commissioned work successfully. After the workshops, students should understand that true creativity can only come after understanding certain boundaries.
Overcome Challenges
Throughout the second year, students continue to build on their first-year knowledge. Emphasis is placed on the creative and technical development of cut, form and proportion. Working closely with professionals from the industry in the form of workshops will empower the student’s vision and creativity. The huge variety of innovative, durable and functional fabrics available allow young pattern makers and drapers to flaunt their imagination and professionalism.
